Meta Launches New Tools to Help Brands Partner with Creators

Meta is introducing a suite of updates designed to streamline the process for brands looking to discover, connect with, and collaborate with creators for branded content campaigns, particularly on Instagram and Reels. These new features aim to enhance the decision-making process for advertisers by utilising AI-powered tools that highlight creators and content proven to perform well.

One of the most notable updates is the revamped Partnership Ads Hub within Meta’s Ads Manager. Now, brands will have access to recommended creator content that naturally mentions their brand and has been identified as high-performing through AI analysis. This pre-approved content can quickly be transformed into paid ads, allowing advertisers to capitalise on organic creator posts with greater efficiency. Meta emphasises that this AI-backed system leverages extensive platform-wide advertising performance data, increasing the likelihood of achieving better engagement and conversions.

In addition to improving content discovery, Meta is launching smarter creator matching. The new system considers a creator’s content history, audience affinity, and previous ad performance to recommend the most suitable influencer partnerships for a brand’s specific campaign goals. This advancement could significantly benefit brands that have traditionally relied on lengthy manual searches to identify influencer partners.

Instagram’s Creator Marketplace is also seeing enhancements, allowing brands to utilise keyword searches to find creators based on their niche interests, such as “tech unboxers,” “vegan mums,” or “home décor DIYers.” Moreover, creator profiles will now showcase new metrics, including posting frequency, engagement statistics, and badges that denote prior partnership experience. Brands will also have access to Reels previews and direct contact buttons, offering a comprehensive view of a creator’s style and capabilities.

For larger marketing teams and agencies, Meta is expanding its Marketing API functionality. Advertisers can now incorporate partnership content into more advanced campaign types, including click-to-message ads and placements powered by Meta’s Advantage+ Creative tools. This enhancement facilitates the integration of influencer content into broader ad strategies, improving consistency and reach across Meta’s platforms.

The significance of these updates for brands cannot be understated. Meta reports that branded content driven by creators, especially on Reels, outperforms traditional advertising methods when it comes to driving purchases and engagement. In fact, a survey revealed that 53% of users are more likely to buy something if it has been recommended by a creator they follow on Reels. By simplifying the process of discovering and collaborating with creators, Meta aims to keep both brands and influencers engaged with its ecosystem, ultimately helping advertisers achieve better results from their campaigns.
